Farogann is an early-stage commercial-intelligence service founded by Miklos Nagy. We are currently conducting manual business research and service validation with a small number of UK businesses.
Information we may use
We may use publicly available business information, including company details, professional roles and business contact information. If you reply to us or contact Farogann, we may also keep the information you provide in that correspondence.
Where information comes from
Sources may include company websites, public procurement notices, Companies House, professional profiles and other publicly accessible business sources.
Why we use it
We use this information to understand businesses and markets, research potentially relevant commercial opportunities, contact corporate business recipients where we reasonably believe the research may be relevant, evaluate the usefulness of the service and respond to enquiries.
Where UK data-protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in conducting relevant business research and limited business-to-business outreach. We consider the relevance of the contact and the likely impact on the person before making contact.
Sharing and automated decisions
Farogann does not sell personal information as a generic mailing list. Information may be processed by service providers used for website hosting, email and business administration. We do not currently use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Retention and objections
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the research, communication and validation purposes described above. If you ask us not to contact you again, we may retain the minimum information needed to respect that request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to restrict its use, or to object to its use for direct marketing or on grounds relating to your situation.
You can ask a question, exercise a right or tell us not to contact you again by emailing [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
